Teri Jane (vonBampus) Graf

Teri Jane vonBampus-Graf, 74, of Woodstock, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 27, 2024, peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones.

She was born March 17, 1950, in Woodstock, IL to Robert and Betty vonBampus. She graduated from Woodstock High School and was a member at St. John Lutheran Church.

She married Thomas Graf on December 16, 1989. Teri worked many years at Woodstock Residence as a food service supervisor, then worked at Centegra McHenry Hospital as the “coffee cart Lady” until her retirement in 2012.

Teri enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, cooking, dancing, singing, and collecting all things flamingo. Fun fact Teri made the little cardigans for the Woodstock blue streak stuffed bears. Her biggest joy of all was being a mother, a grandma and a great grandma, plus having an amazing husband by her side to enjoy life with.

Survivors include her loving husband, Thomas Graf, son Phil (Sarah) Vermett, 3 daughters, Candyce (Jeff) Drinkwater, Angela (Samuel) Kirkland, Stefanie (Mark) Thiele, 9 grandchildren, Calvin, Tyler, Shanyia (Kiel), Leanna, Chloe, Emily, Casey Jo, Emmett and Ellie and one great-grandchild Elijah, plus two nieces and their children.

Teri was proceeded in death by her parents and her brother Steven vonBampus.

The Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at St. John Lutheran Church, 401 St Johns Rd., Woodstock, IL. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, with a Sanctuary memorial service at 11:00 am followed by a luncheon in the social hall.

Interment of ashes at Oakland Cemetery will proceed the luncheon at 2:00 pm.
