Steven John McAdams

Steven John McAdams 57, from Wadsworth, Illinois passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Journey Care Center in Barrington. It has been a long road fighting cancer but he is finally at peace and laid to rest.

He was born February 07, 1964, to John and Bernadette McAdams

Survivors include his former wife Nada Lunsford McAdams, children Dusten (Rebecca Lopez), Devin and Sean McAdams, grandchildren Logan, Lucy, Liam and Annabelle McAdams, his father John McAdams, sister Donna McAdams Jacobson of Wadsworth, and brother Michael McAdams of Chicago, IL.

He was preceded in death by his mother Bernadette “Bernie” (Kyrk) McAdams.

Steven was one of the kindest people ever put here on God’s green Earth, He did not have a mean bone in his body and accepted life for exactly what it was.  He was a very talented journeyman electrician for over 20 years working in both residential and commercial settings.  Steve had many hobbies, he loved music festivals, especially anything to do with Blues, the outdoors, and hanging out at VanPatten Woods, in Wadsworth with his friends.  Steve had unconditional love for everyone who became part of his life, he was a very special sort.

A memorial gathering will be Saturday, February 19, 2022, after 2 pm at the Duck Inn in Wadsworth, Illinois.
