Ruth Ann Brodeske

Ruth Ann Brodeske, 73, of Rockford, formerly of Woodstock, passed away April 15, 2023 at her home.

Ruth was born August 19, 1949 to Gerald and Eleanor (Schmarje) Mungle in Woodstock, IL.  On Nov. 5, 1992, she married Ken G. Brodeske in Racine, WI and celebrated their 30 years of marriage this past November.  Ruth worked at Precision Twist for 27 years where she worked as a supervisor.  She was a member of the Belvidere Grange and enjoyed canning, going through antique malls, and loved cooking.  Ruth also loved all her nieces and nephews.

Ruth is survived by her husband Ken Brodeske, stepmother-in-law Carol Brodeske, siblings Virginia (Frank) Piska, Mary (Paul) Kleven, and Gary Mungle, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and 1 great-great-nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents Gerald and Eleanor, father-in-law Gerald “Jerry” Brodeske, brothers Gerald Mungle, Ed Mungle, and Willie Mungle, and 2 great nieces.

The visitation will be 10 AM Fri., April 21 until the 1 PM service at Saunders Funeral Home & Crematory, 1745 S. Eastwood Dr., Woodstock, IL 60098.
