Margaret "Margo" M. Guido

Margaret “Margo” M. Guido, age 92, of Woodstock, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, in the comfort of her home. Daughter of the late Nora Fitzgerald, Margo was born on October 15, 1933, in Toronto, Ontario. In 1972, she was united in marriage with Joe Guido, and the couple moved to the United States in 1976, settling in Barrington, IL.

Margo was a devoted homemaker and loving mother to her two daughters, Sandra and Sue. She was a nature lover throughout her life, and her heart held room for animals of all kinds. She especially loved the companionship of her many Wolfhounds and cats over the years. Margo volunteered as a driver for senior services, was an avid golfer, and enjoyed traveling the world with her husband, Joe. She delighted in being a grandmother and spent time with her grandsons whenever possible.

Margo is survived by her daughters, Sandra Wilson (Phillip Oliver) and Sue (Kevin) Brown; grandsons, Mike and Robert Brown; and dear family friend, Paulette Weinberg. In death, she is reunited with her mother, Nora; and husband of 21 years, Joe.
