Kevin Lee Hinderliter

Kevin L. Hinderliter, 68, of Ashland, IL, formerly of Woodstock, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Springfield Memorial Hospital in Springfield, IL.

Kevin was born on November 17, 1956, in Chicago to V. Gene and Mary (Bathauer) Hinderliter.  He married the love of his life Lori Cosman on April 15, 1978, in Crystal Lake, IL.

Kevin worked in the water & wastewater field for most of his career.  He loved to go ‘glamping’ with his family and ride his BMW motorcycle.

Survivors include his wife Lori Hinderliter, children Erin (Josh) Jameson and Connie Bottenhagen, three grandchildren, and siblings Gene Hinderliter, Steve (Chris) Hinderliter, Wendy Storberg, David Hinderliter, Brian (Dawn) Hinderliter, Carol (Joe) Bowden, and Tammy (Craig) Stroedcke.

He was preceded in death by his mother Mary.

There will be a visitation from 10 AM until the 11:45 AM prayer service on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Saunders Funeral Home & Crematory, 1745 S. Eastwood Dr., Woodstock, IL 60098.  Interment will immediately follow at Oakland Cemetery in Woodstock.
