Kendall Lewis

Kendall Lewis, 77, of Woodstock, IL passed away at Crescent Care on Monday, October 10, 2022.

Kendall was born September 23, 1945, in Duffy, WV to Marvin and Thelma (Slaughter) Lewis. He married Linda Johnson in McHenry, IL on December 13, 1969.

Kendall was an US Air Force AP Vietnam Veteran, he served from 1965 to 1968. He was employed with Woodstock Die Cast for 20 years until it’s closing and retired after a 20-year career in environmental services at Centegra Hospital McHenry.

He is survived by his wife Linda Lewis, children Brian Lewis, Alva (Connie) Lewis, grand-daughters Ashley and Kailah Lewis, siblings Karen (Bob) Williams, Myron Lewis, Jerry (Kathy) Lewis, his “special angel” Sherry Ann, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents Marvin and Thelma Lewis, siblings Jasper (Margaret) Lewis, Georgia (Frank) Williams, and Alva Lewis.

Visitation will be held Fri. October 14, 2022, from 10 AM to noon at McHenry County Memorial Park, 11301 Lake Ave, Woodstock, IL 60098, with services to follow.
