Hugh Dayle Johnson

Hugh Dayle Johnson passed away on June 25, 2023. Hugh was born on June 21, 2023, in Wonder Lake, Illinois, the son of Cody and Elizabeth (Chadwell) Johnson. While his time here was brief, Hugh touched many lives, and he will be lovingly remembered and cherished. Upon his passing, his heart was donated and saved a 3 month old baby. Hugh was born to be a hero.

Hugh is survived by his parents Cody and Elizabeth Johnson; big sister Nova and twin sister Lillian; grandparents Neil and Kiptara Johnson, Janet and Todd Dadow, Phillip Chadwell; great grandparents Hugh and Maxine Gauss, Joyce Johnson.

He was preceded in death by great grandparents Dayle and Phyllis Eckwall, Lester Johnson, Clinton and Merlene Chadwell, Douglas and Joann Dadow.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Haven Network [support families through infant loss] or Gift of Hope [organ donation services].

A memorial gathering will take place on Wednesday, December 27th from 11 AM to 1 PM. A service will follow with Pastor Larry Tieman presiding.
