Gloria Jean Haeger

Gloria Jean Haeger (nee Price) 9/22/1942-4/5/2024 Age 81 passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 5, 2024, at Northwestern Medicine Hospital McHenry. Gloria was born in Chicago, IL and was a longtime resident of Boulder Ridge in Lake In The Hills, IL. She was a longtime employee of the Walgreens Company and worked as a cosmetician for over 27 years.

Gloria lived her life being positive and treated everyone like her own family. She was generous and compassionate to all; a friend in need received aid without asking. Her family, friends, and home meant everything to her. Gloria particularly enjoyed roller-skating, dancing, home decorating, and cooking. She was passionate about hosting, and always made the holidays special for all. Gloria had a need to please others and was infinitely selfless.

Gloria was preceded in death by her sister Alice Price, mother Elizabeth Price (nee Luikaart), father Emmanuel Price, and sister Dolores Guttman (nee Price, Emil Guttmann dcsd). She is survived by her beloved daughter Susan E. Chapman (nee Haeger, Roger Chapman), loving granddaughter Amanda L. Titus (nee Chapman, William A. Titus), and loving grandson Curran R. Chapman, and many loving grand-animals.

Gloria will be dearly missed by all who knew her. At Gloria’s request, no services will be held. Alternatively, please donate to your favorite charity in her name, or to her favorite charity of St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
