Florence L. Shadian

Florence L. Shadian, 92, of Crystal Lake, passed away at JourneyCare in Barrington, IL.

Florence, loving wife and mother of three, was born July 13, 1932, in Kosciusko County, Indiana, to George and Florence (Steele) Kiesgen.  Florence married Harry Shadian who preceded her in death in 1971.  Throughout her life, she had worked for Great Lakes Credit Union and General Finance Company.

Florence loved raising her sons and spending time with them.  She enjoyed playing bingo, roller skating, dancing, and playing with her dog.

Surviving family include her brother John Kiesgen of Neenah, WI, sons Michael Shadian of Green Bay, WI and Kenneth Shadian of Woodstock, IL, grandchildren Dan Shadian, Don Shadian, Christine Greenwood, and Constance (James) Mielke, great grandchildren Karen and Tyler Mielke, daughter-in-law Jodi Shadian, niece Peggy (Chuck) Littlefield, and nephew Ken (Ila) Kiesgen.

She is preceded in death by her husband Harry Shadian, son John Shadian, parents George Henry Jr. and Florence Myrtle Matilda Kiesgen, and sister-in-law Anna Walmsley.

There will be a celebration of life from 1 - 4 PM Sunday, July 13, 2025, at 1013 138th Ave., Kenosha, WI 53144.
