Andrea Consuelo Rodriguez

Andrea Consuelo Rodriguez, 28, of Woodstock, passed away on November 13, 2023.

Andrea was born Nov. 16, 1994 to Evodio Rodriguez Montes de Oca and Maria Gabriela Ortiz Ortiz in Woodstock, IL.

Andrea was always one to make the most of what she was given. She was proud of herself and her work. She was happiest about her most recent accomplishment learning how to drive the forklift. 

Andrea was a true to the bone 90s kid. She loved watching shows like Sailor Moon, Animaniacs, Powerpuff Girls, and Full House with her siblings. She never grew tired of her comfort shows Gilmore Girls and Friends (although, she hated how often we talked during her shows). Some of the best shared moments together were simply quoting our favorite childhood films in unison. She was a creative playful person, who loved making art. She enjoyed quiet, relaxed activities like puzzles and nature walks. She was an amazing daughter, sister and friend. She will be severely missed by those fortunate enough to have known her. 

Survivors include her parents Maria Sanders and Evodio Rodriguez and stepfather Bill O’Brien. She is also survived by her five siblings, Xio Rodriguez, Oscar Rodriguez, Iris Rodriguez, Aisha Rodriguez, and Logan O’Brien.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Consuelo Montes de Oca and stepmother, Julia Garcia.

There will be a visitation from 2 - 6 PM Tuesday, November 21 at Saunders Funeral Home & Crematory, 1745 S. Eastwood Dr., Woodstock, IL 60098. A prayer service will begin at 4 PM.
